Would someone be so kind as to help me fine tune a website that I have built,
but I am not quite sure how to correct a number of small errors that come up
after I have checked the pages. With Many Thanks - MOL

Please post your site's URL and the specific errors you're concerned about.

Thank you for the replies to my post, however, none of ya'll seemed to be
able to answer my question which was “Would someone be so kind as to help
me?†Obviously not. I didn’t intend to be your holiday amusement, ROFLMAO,
and, consider this, why in the world would I publish a sight knowing it has
errors?

I am not a Microsoft expert, as ya’ll are supposed to be, but a self-taught
MS Office user, who is volunteering to help a local non profit agency
establish a website. A professional web developer is just not in their
budget, and I am doing the best I know how. It was also my understanding
that I could get support from the Front Page Forum, but from the
condescending sarcasm of your replies, it is obvious that I would be better
off going somewhere else. Never did I imagine I would be treated like this
by someone at Microsoft.

Thanks just the same, I don’t needs help like yours, there are plenty of
nice and considerate computer savy geeks out there who are most understanding
and would be happy to help.

PS.
Maybe I should invest in Corel next time.
Also, as noticed, yall are all male – go figure!

MOL,

I am a simple amateur like yourself. This newsgroup is not part of MS, it is
just run from their server (or so I understand).

Sometimes I have received good advice and sometimes I see very sarcastic,
know-it-all stuff. It just depends on who answers.

As far as your query is concerned, perhaps you could post back with a
website address, and some people can look at it.

I am no geek, but a professional with 30 years in the trade (now retired) in
mainframe/Unix programming. My experience with website design is less than
one year. So my opinion wouldn't be worth all that much, but any 3rd party
look can sometimes help.

No one can ever help you until you at least explain what your specific problem is
How is anyone supposed to guess what help you may need from the vague statement you have made of:
"fine tune a website that I have built, ... to correct a number of small errors"
without either seeing the site, or hearing from you about your specific problems if it is not published yet

This forum is for volunteers (not any MS staff) freely helping users that are willing to be helped
- by being clear about their specific questions or problems
