correct zone naming

Hi

When creating a zone in DNS and the wizard asks for the name of the zone,
should I type mydnsserver.mydomain.com or just mydomain.com? thanks

MyDomain.com ***

*** Please note that we really cannot tell from the above
but must assume that "mydnsserver" is a particular server
and NOT the name (or also the name) for an actual child
zone.

If the zone is named MyDomain.com then you should type
this as the zone name. (That is the answer to what you asked.)
