If a runner leaves the starting line at 13:00 (cell A1)
and runs 10.1 mile (cell B1) at 11.00mph (cell C1), he
will arrive at the finish line at ? (cell D1) time?

What would be the correct formula to place in cell D1?

Please Help!

When you have a cell formatted for time, what part of its value is
used to determine that? It is the fractional part of that number, the
fraction of a day. Add the appropriate number of _days_ (not minutes
or hours or seconds) to the value from A1 and format.

If you use Range Names, I believe the formula would be:

=StartTime+(Distance/Velocity)/24

(Format answer as time)
