If, somehow, one should have been as stupid as to disable all but one
windows programs in the default domain policy (all users included), then
what could he do besides being very ashamed of himselves? I've been able to
regain acces by renaming mmc.exe to that one accessible program name and
recover from total disaster, but what else could have been possible?

Hello.

Another possible option would be to redefine the Default Domain Policy so
that the software restrictions are less restrictive. After a reboot, the
client will apply these new policy settings. (I am assuming that you are
referring to software restriction policies.)

In this particular case i excluded acces to the mmc on the domain controller
as well, so i tried to find the registry keys involved but couldn't find
them.
