Does this site still exist - where you can manually download patches etc.
for distribution over a network?

If so - what is the url?

The Windows Update Catalog URL for Windows XP is http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/catalog/en/default.asp.
To access Windows Update Catalog, click Windows
Update Catalog link under See Also. If you do not see this link,
click Personalize Windows Update and select Display the link to
the Windows Update Catalog.
