Firstly, Hello everyone... I havent been around for a while, but i'm here now!
Seccondly, i am looking for a new laptop, not for gaming, just for using the internet and watching DVD's.
But, it has to be powerful enough. Please tell me what you reccomend.
Minimum Specs:
Core Duo 1.66GHz (1.83GHz i would like)
1GB DDR2 RAM
DVD+/-RW (DL)
80GB HDD
On-Board Bluetooth & Wireless network card
15"/17" High Quality LCD
TV Out port & Firewire
All this for less that £1,000
I would like it to have an on board TV tuner aswell. It must be reliable and not a Dell.
If you have any suggestions, please let me know!
i was looking at the sony viao FE21H, but it is only 1.66GHz

Also, i have looked at all the current Dell laptops, and i don't like the look of any of them (i'm not talking about their specs, i talking about looks!)
