I have built a new computer.
Intel Core 2 E6300
GA 965P DS3

I already own Win2000. I can't really afford to buy XP. Can I use 2000? I
play games mostly. Will I see any difference in performance?
 
If its a retail edition of win you can install it.
Performance also depends on video card and memory
