We have an old 900 MHz Uniden cordless phone. (analog) I have been
wondering if it might be contributing to interference and/or slower wifi
speeds here in our home. Any ideas?

No. It's easy enough to check though, just unplug it.

I know that my 2.4GHz frequency cordless phone interferes with my wireless
connection since 802.11g runs at the 2.4GHz frequency. I would think that
the 900MHz frequency phone would have no effect since it's on a different
frequency. You could try changing your channel to a different one on your
router/access point to see if you get a better connection.
