Copyright yearly update

Hi THA

One way you can do this is by adding the Copyright symbol to the Date
Placeholder on the Master Slide/s.

Go to View>Master>Slide Master
Insert your cursor at the start of the <date/time> Placeholder
Insert> Symbol and select the Copyright Symbol (or simply hold down the Alt
Key and on the Number Pad type 0169)
Repeat this on your Title Master and Slide Master if necessary
Close the Master View
Go to View>Header and Footer and set your date to update automatically

The only limitation is that the standard date options display the date
and/or the month and the year. (e.g.. November 06).

If you have any questions please contact me directly.
Thank you

Ummm, normally you would never want to change the date of a copyright. Can
you explain your reasoning?

I want it to change on the first of each year

I understood this, but not certain why. A copyright date should be the date
you applied copyright to your work. Altering that date could void your
rights under copyright law. Just an FYI.
