I am trying to copy then burn a musiv video/dvd. I can't. How do you know if it is copyright protected?
I can't get it done in WinXP MC2004. There is Sonic and Nero preloaded software installed but it appears not full blown programs. Anyone have suggestions?

99.9% of retail DVDs are going to be copy protected.

You might try reading through www.dvdrhelp.com for different software
advice.

Neither Sonic or Nero will do what you want... nor will Roxio. I think
there's DVD Shrink and DVD X Copy... but the dvdrhelp.com website will tell
you more.

Go to dvdrhelp or www.doom9.net and download DVD Decrypter and then rip the
DVD using it.

But can you ever tell if the dvd IS copyright protected. Is there a way?
