I know this is probably the incorrect news group to ask this question, but I
cannot find the answer or information regarding how after burning my web
site onto a CD Rom to view by a third party to limit them using the CD after
a 30 day period. What programmes are there, that I can use to enable this
feature and render the CD useless after a predefined period.

You will need to search for a installer application that will allow you to limit the access period,
as the info would have to be written to the user registry since the CD would be read only.

None that can't be easily circumvented.

Other than the obvious, what are you actually trying to accomplish??

It would be easier to put the content on a server and then just remove it after 30 days.

The point was that I did not want the recipients to have access to what I
have produced for more than 48 hours. I thought that if I produced my work
on a CD rom and submitted it to the board so that they could view it on
their laptops, as wireless connection would not be possible. they were not
in a position to take my work away with them and capitalize on it. However I
will have a re think thank you for your ideas.

I think they'd still have 47 hrs & 59 mins to copy it off the CD though.

Even if you could make the CD "expire," everything they've viewed will be
in the computers browser cache files.
