Copying to a writeable CD

S

Sam Meilach

I just got Windows XP with a re-writeable CD drive. I
thought that I could just insert a blank CD (not a re-
writeable CD) and use Windows Explorer to copy files to
it. However, when I attempt to do so, I get the error
message that drive "E:\" is not accessible.

Why is this happening?

Thanks!

Open My Computer, right click on the CD drive you want to use, select
properties, click on the recording tab. Put a check mark in the box that
says allow recording. Click apply, ok, then close. This should allow you to
do what you want.
