DAVID PEARSON

I HAVE FORMATED TWO COLUMNS USING THE DATE FORMAT
FUNCTION. I WANT THE DATE ENTERED ("COPY FROM"),TO DISPLAY
IN A DIFFERENT CELL ON THE SAME ROW IN A DIFFERENT DATE
FORMATED COLUMN. THIS WORKS FINE IF YOU ENTER A DATE BUT
IF THE "COPY FROM" CELL IS BLANK THE "COPY TO" CELL
DISPLAYS 00-JAN-00. THE "COPY TO" CELL HAS THE FORMULA
=BC10. I WANT THE "COPY TO" CELL TO DISPLAY EMPTY IF THERE
IS NO DATE ENTERED INTO THE "COPY FROM" CELL.

David,

Format the "copy to" cell (Format - Cells - Number - Custom). There will
already be a date format. Add two semicolons. Should look like:

mmm dd, yyyy;;
dd/mm/yy;; etc.

Please don't post in all caps. We think you're shouting. :)
