copying text and selected fonts

I use the font Arial for the text on my ENTIRE website. I have it selected
as the default font. Now, how can I get text that I have copied from another
program (i.e. Microsoft Outlook) to paste as Arial text, even though it may
not have been originally typed in Arial?
As I have it now, I copy the text (done in TimesRoman), paste it into my FP
web, it shows in FP as Arial, but when I view the page live in IE, it shows
up as TimesRoman, even though my default font is Arial. So I have to go back
to FP and select the entire text and select (again) Arial from the font list.

Any suggestions would be great!

What You Seek Is What You Get.

You must specify the font you want either by physical markup or by using
CSS. I recommend the latter.
The default font is what will be shown when no other font is specified
by default that will be Times New Roman in most browsers and in FP. That
you have chosen another default in FP doesn't influence the default set
by browsers or other versions of FP.

If you want the site to show as Arial, the select some other font for
your default font (I use Forte - really unsuitable for body text)
This will show any text on the page that has NOT been formatted to be
Arial.
