Hi,

I know that it possible to do this but I cannot find any instructions
anywhere on the MS site that explains the process.

Does anyone here know how to do it? I dont want to install the Service
packs just store them so that when I do a reinstall of Windows XP I have them
at my fingertips.

Thanks for your time looking at this question.

Hi Galen, thanks for getting back to me. I am in a hurry as I need to do a
reinstall now and I cannot wait the 28 days that Microsoft tell me it will
take to post the CD out. Also I will need SP1 and any updates and patches
that have been released since SP2 came out.

Thanks again for your input it is much appreciated
