I am driving Windows XP and MS Office 2003.
I am a novice with no experience with pictures.
I used the MS Wizard to copy the pictures.
When I attempted to copy some old family pictures to a CD,
the CD only shows the JPEG Logo for each picures.
Each JPEG Logo does give the correct names of the people below each JPEG Logo.

My Question: How do I get the thumb print size pictures to show up on the CD?
The JPEG Logo is not useful for my purpose,
I need the small, thumb size, picture to show up on the
CD.

When I select the JPEG Logo, that picture will appear - so the picture is
there.

Your helpfulness will be greatly appreciated by my family
for these old pictures of my family.
Thank You,

In the open explorer window, select view at the top of the window, then
thumbnail. Windows controls how you see the files on the CD, not the CD or
the files on it.

Thank You, David B., for your helpful advice.
When I selected View thumbnail, it worked correctly.

However, it created another problem.

The views of the thumbnail pics are only ghost images of the real Pics.
And there is a downward pointing arrow in the lower left hand corner of each
pics.

And, at the top left corner of the opened CD, it reads:
These files are ready to be written to a CD.

All of this shows up on the new CD that I just "burned."

What did I do wrong?
How do I get rid of the ghost images and show real thumbnail pics?
How do I get rid of the statement: These files are ready to be written to a
CD?

David B., I will appreciate your further help to this novice.

Thank You,
