Copying Pictures into e-mail

Have successfully copied pics into e-mail in the past.
Both .bmp and/or .jpg. For some reason I cannot
copy/paste photos into ANY of my eamil prgrams: Outlook,
outlook express, Yahoo, or Earthlink Mail. I can
copy/paste same photos into a document tho.

Any help would be appreciated.
