Copying photos to a page

I have about 300 photos I want to copy to a page, and I need to do this 1-2
times a week (baseball game photos).
When I do insert photo, it will only do one at a time, and I really do not
want to do 300 photos one at a time for the rest of the baseball season.

Is there a way to copy multiple pictures to the page in one move?

TIA

multiple drag and drop will work, unless you are placing them in table cells
(well actually it will work then too..but depends on your layout)

Drag them from Folder List View onto your page

Thanks, I could not get the multiple drag and drop to work from a folder
within FrontPage, but did a couple/paste from a folder on my desktop.

Yes I know how silly that sounds but I swear it is true!

Next question, if you don't mind.

Now that I have the 300 photos on my page, is there an easier way to
convert them to thumbnails other then doing them one at a time?

I could only drag them one at a time.

You will now most likely have to manually correct the path to each image, as it point back to your
local HD, and only you will be able to see the images on the page while at the computer that you
created this page on. The only way to avoid this issue is to first import the images into your
current open FP web / site prior to inserting them on your page.

drag/drop from your desktop, but not copy/paste

batch processing....IrFanview (it's free) and is a "must have" for your
toolbox.

not sure why multiple drag/drop is not working for you from inside FP from
folder view

Convert them in IrfanView. It should be able to do them all at once. I have
never tried 300, but if it works with 50 or so (which it does), 300 should
be OK also

It'll be fine...I've done thousands at a time

Hold the Shift Key or Ctrl key to select multiple files (just like in windows explorer)

I tried that, along with the Alt key and multiple combination of keys.

I know it should work, but for some silly reason it is not.

Oh well, I could have worse problems!
