I copied some tracks onto a rewritable CD for the first time this weekend,
but changed my mind about the order of the tracks I wanted to copy. I was
unable to delete the copied tracks and got a message saying that these were
read only. Is there no going back once I have got this far?

Anyrhing copied to a CD automatically becomes Read Only.
Copy the lot to your HDD, change every file's attributes from Read Only &
format the CD.
Make your changes & re-burn.

Thanks a lot John, I'll give it a go

Formatting is only possible if the OP is using packet-writing, in which case
he wouldn't be having the problem he's asking about. You are correct in
saying that he needs to copy them back to HD, reorder them and then burn
again, but there's no need to format first.

Thanks guys, I wasn't aware that you could go through My Computer, right
click and erase.
