Copying info to other sheets

Hello;

I have one sheet with records. I want to split the information into other
sheet for everey change in a column values.


i.e.

col 1 col2 col3
1 a b
1 c d
2 e f
2 g 1


so the above would turn into two sheets; One with all the "1" records and
another sheet with all "2" records.

I can do a simple copy and paste but it will take to long.

Hi Fab
you may use Advanced filters:
- create a criteria range
- goto 'data - Filter - Advanced filter'
- choose a different location for your output
 
But a need a new sheet for every change in column one.

using the advanced filter does one chnage at a time....i.e. i need to repeat
the process for every change...might as well sort and copy and paste.

I need a quick way of doing it.
