I'm using a Cruzer Micro 4.0 GB USB drive to copy files from a Windows 2000
machine to XP. It recognized the flash drive, it copied the files as well.
But when I went to the XP computer, I don't see any files in the USB drive.

Also, I used two different USB drives, two Windows 2000 PCs and two Windows
XP PCs.

Is there a compatibility issue, or something needs to be updated, or what?

Thanks in advance

My guess would be you are seeing some trouble with the USB 2.0 driver needed
for a 4 gig flash drive. Does devmgmt.msc see the device?

Yes, the Device Manager sees the device.
In fact I have other files in the USB drive which are copied from a Windows
XP machine and they're still there. It's just that I can't see that files in
the folder where I copied the files from the Windows 2000 computer.
And when I went back to the 2000 computer to check if the files are still
there, it says something like it can't access the folder (or something)
because the files are in use (something).
So I just copied using a CDR, but I'm just curious why it didn't work,
because it's more convenient and easy.

Ok, I tried that but after I selected Sharing and Security, there's no
advanced tab anywhere, just the general and sharing tab.
The folder size is 0 bytes.
Im pretty sure when I copied the files from Windows 2000 computer, I saw the
files in that folder.
