I received the message
"Access denied. The source file may be in use."
when initiating the file copy from my Windows 2000 Server macine to my
Windows XP Pro machine -- i.e., on the Win2000 machine I drag a folder
to the winXP. If I initiate the copy on the XP machine, I can
drag-n-drop the same folders from the Windows 2000 server.
I haven't found anything like this problem mentioned on a Google
Groups search (similar, but in my case the action depends on which
machine I'm doing the copy on). Both machines have sharing set up
properly and I'm using the user login on both machines. There seemed
to be indications that it had something to do with security. FYI, I
can drop folder from my Win2000 Server machine to a Win2000 Pro
machine -- must be something special about XP. Any ideas are greatly
welcomed.
