Copying from Excel to a table in Frontpage

Hi,
I have a question regarding copying a bunch of cells from Excel and
pasting them into a pre-existing table in Frontpage. It doesn't paste from
cell to cell, but into one cell in the pre-existing table in Frontpage. I'm
copying and pasting the same number of cells. Is there any way to get it to
paste from cell to cell? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I hope
this makes sense.

Save from Excel as HTML, import page into current open FP web, then open page, select rows, copy and
paste into current table.
