Copying Formulas

Problem: Basically I have a section of Data that is longer than another
section. I am using data from one in the other. When I paste my
formulas down (I am using the correct Absolute/relative references
references) they jump the distance of the long when I want them to stay
in the short. I have tried absoluting the row and doing a few of them,
hoping that it would pick up on the pattern, but no luck. Any help
would be appreciated.

there isn't any way to do that with just absolute/relative cell references
and doing copy and paste. You would need to use a formula like Offset and
calculate the row you want to refer to.
 
Tom, I believe you are correct about the OFFSET Function.
Unfortunately, I am not too familiar with it. Would you (or of course
anyone else) mind looking at the attachment that I posted and tell me
how it would work.
