copying files to CD

1. possible to copy entire folder?
a. have to copy each piece in folder?
2. system sez:"trouble copying item, try again or skip?
try again will not copy...what now?
This is result of XP taking files out of ME, trying to
recover. What a mess!!!
Operation shut down until solution evolves.
Suggestions? Any help appreciated.

Yes it's possible. Typically cd burning software has trouble with longer
paths and will truncate the file names. However when this happens the
software usually gives you a warning message and asks if that is what you
want to do.

You didn't mention what program you're using to create these CDs. If using
the builtin features of XP, see the following article for an overview of
the process and some troubleshooting procedures for various problems:
