Hello,

I have a quick question and hopefully I come across clear. My
apologies in advance if I don't ask the question very well.

If I am working from home and I'm on a remote network from my office
and I want to copy some files to a cd or dvd is that possible? Or does/
can the network block that kind of activity?

What I did was create a folder on the desktop, then copied the folder
to the cd/dvd drive to be burned to a disc. When I go to actually
write the disc it says there is not a disc in the drive when there
actually is one. I thought maybe it was the disc so I changed to a new
one and still get the same message.

What do y'all think? Hopefully I gave you enough information.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Jason

Hi, Jason,

If I understand you, you're trying to burn a CD from your remote session. I
don't think the client-side CD-R drive will work in your RDP session for
writing. You'll need to copy the files locally and burn them there.
