Copying files from one server to another

Is there an easy way to move a folder and retain the permissions on the
subfolders?

I am moving files from Server 2000 to Server 2003

Try robocopy in the Resource Kit tools

I have downloaded and installed it, but Robocopy was not supplied.

Does the resource kit have to be bought separately to obtain the utilities?

Hmmm. When I install it, robocopy.exe and robocopy.doc wind up in
C:\Program
Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools

This utility has been available since NT 4.0 - See:
