In copying a large amount of assorted files from one drive
to another, be it partition to partition, HD to HD or from
one PC to another PC via network, it seems to get time
remaining way beyond the normal W98SE timing errors.
Source files mixed.
12.1GB
11,337 files
779 folders
Assorted files sizes from 2K through to 6498MB, this last
one being an ISO, but the time remaining despite this one
range from a few minutes to a nine digit "9xxxxxxxx minutes"
remaining amount, this seems to happen even when copied files
are known to be between 2 to 6MB according to file name
being displayed.
Is this a W98SE limitation or possible corruption within the files.

There was a bug in the time estimation function, when total size of files
exceeds 2 or 4 GB. Fixed only in XP SP1 and 2K SP4 (?).
