G Guest Feb 12, 2006 #1 How do I convert the files in my music folder to show as a list in a text file, any help please
W Wesley Vogel Feb 12, 2006 #2 Several ways. Here are a couple... Open a command prompt... Start | Run | Type: cmd | Clck OK | Type the following line: cd %userprofile%\My Documents\My Music Hit the Enter key. Type the following line: dir > music.txt Hit the Enter key. Open My Music folder and locate music.txt Or do one of these, so all you have to do is right click My Music folder instead of all the typing. Add a Print Directory Feature for Folders in Windows XP http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/PrintDirectory.htm HOW TO: Add a "Print Directory" Feature for Folders in Windows XP http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;321379 Karen's Directory Printer http://www.karenware.com/powertools/ptdirprn.asp -- Hope this helps.
