Copying email addresses to laptop from pc

Microsoft Outlook stores contacts in a file with a .PST file extension.
Since you might not want to bring over "everything", you might find it
easier to go to the contacts folder and export to a CSV ( done thru file >
import and export > export to file ). This way you can copy of the CSV file
and import that into the other machine.

I can't even find a file with a .pst extension - and don't know where you
mean contacts folder and export to a csv (which stands for what?) - I'm not
too clear on this export to file part.

csv = comma separated value

pst file(s) tend to be stored at one of these two locations.

\documents and settings\<userid>\application data\microsoft\outlook
\documents and settings\<userid>\local settings\application
data\microsoft\outlook

just so you know, the "application data" and "local settings" folders are
hidden/system folders. You will have to reconfigure windows explorer to
show you these types of folder/files.
