Hello,
I just got a new laptop and need to copy everything from my old Outlook
2003 to my new laptop. I copied the .pst file into the proper place on my new
laptop, but when I try to send an e-mail and use the "to" button to get the
address it says , The addtess list could not be displayed. The contacts
folder associated with this address list could not be opened, it may have
been moved or deleted. I can open and see all of my contacts from the main
part of Outlook.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
Mark W.

Copying/overwriting a PST file is the surest way I know to corrupt a
profile.
I'd suggest reading the Help Files the next time. They provide explicit
instructions on how to migrate Outlook data:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA010771141033.aspx

If you are lucky, the only thing you managed to corrupt is your Outlook
Address Book Setting. Reset it first.
Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or address
books > Outlook Address Book > Change.

If you have other problems, create a new profile and follow the Help File
instructions.
