Copying Cells from one worksheet to another automaticly

I have a document with 5 worksheets. When I update say worksheet one in a
certain cell, I want it to update worksheet 5 in certain cell. Can this be
done?
 
In any cell on Sheet5 enter =IF(Sheet1!A1="","",Sheet1!A1)

When you change the data in Sheet1!A1, the formula on Sheet5 will return that
value.

Can I ask for soem specific help on this as I have the same need and just can not get my head around it.

My spreadsheet has a few Worksheets and I have tried the above but am obviously doing something wrong.

Worksheet 1 is called Stock
Worksheet 2 is called Orders
Worksheet 3 is called forecast
Worksheet 4 is called Available Stock

If for example on Stock in Cell E7 I need this to be copied into Available Stock in cell E3.

What would the exact =IF be??
