How do I copy and transfer my Outlook Express address
book from my laptop to my desktop? Both have Windows XP.
Thanks, Tania

I will assume you can move the files from the laptop to the desktop.

In Outlook Express on the laptop:
1. click on the tools menu and select Addressbook.
2. in Addressbook, click file>export>addressbook (WAB)
3. choose a name and path to place the AB file.

In Outlook Express on the desktop:
1. click on the tools menu and select Addressbook.
2. in Addressbook, click file>import>addressbook (WAB)
3. navigate to the name and path of the AB file.

I am glad to introduce another superior PIM software to you. Please
visit http://www.superpim.com.cn and download SuperPIM. It's much
better than outlook when organizing your contacts.

To solve your problem, you can export your contacts in your address
book to a csv file, then transfer the csv file to another computer,
and import it into outlook.

SuperPIM make it much easier. You can export the above csv file into
SuperPIM, it will then be converted to a SuperPIM Address Book file.
You can transfer the file(s) from one computer to any other computer
freely.

If you have any questions, please email me.
