I now run w2k on a 2g hd and I keep most of my apps and
data on a separate 20g drive. I would like to move all
files to the 20g drive and clear the 2g for a different
OS. Can this be done without doing new installs? My w2k
is an upgrade (computer came with NT and a free upgrade)
and I don't want to install NT and then upgade again.

Ed - you shouldn't have to install NT, then upgrade it to W2k.

Just start a W2k install with the W2k CD. When the install process
doesn't find an eligible OS on the HDD, it'll just ask you to insert the
CD for the eligible (NT) OS. Stick that in, the W2k installer will say
OK, reinsert the W2k CD, and the install will complete.
