My old PC motherboard died and I just bought new PC with
WIN XP. I have installed my WIN 98 hard disk as a slave
and I can access all my files OK.

How can I get my Explorer Favorites from my old disk to XP?

I tried copying the files from (98) \Windows\Favorites to
the (XP) \Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\favorites
but that did not do it.

Is there a way to do this???

Thanks!

You were close..
Copy \Windows\Favorites (98) to your profile on the XP side:

c:\documents and settings\username\favorites
