I have windows xp & windows media 9 series. I have a
company VHS video I want to copy to media 9 series. I
then want to burn a CD.

How and where do I start?

First thing you'll have to buy is some analog capture hardware. You can
take a look at www.vcdhelp.com for some reviews.

Once you've purchased and installed that you can use MovieMaker to capture
the footage and edit it.... and then save it.

Then you can open the file in Windows Media Player and watch it over and
over again to your heart's content.

you first must get a video capture device. pinnacle has a cheap usb cable
capture w/software for around 50 dollars. capture video then render it by
clicking the vcd tab. presto!
