I have a computer with XP Pro installed. When I first started using the
computer I logged on as Administrator. I found out later that is not the
right thing to do. Can I copy all the desktop settings (icons, background,
screensaver, etc) and personal information from the Administrator user to
another user log on name, without reloading everything again. If I can, how?
Thanks in advance.

Hi John,

You can copy all your settings, but not from the same account.
I suggest you create a new administrator account 'Admin' and a new
user account 'User.' Let`s suppose the account you want to copy is
called John.

Then, logged on as 'Admin' go to Control Panel > User accounts. click
on the 'John' account and on the related task, you will find 'copy the
account.' Use this routine to copy the settings from John ---> to the
new User account.

After you have done all the copying, you can delete the Admin account
you created expressly for copying. You'll end up with two accounts,
the original administrative one and the limited account one, with the
same settings.

Hope this helps
