COPY then PASTE SPECIAL>VALUE

I have a cell which contains text that is created using the ADDRESS
function. Is there a function that will do the same thing as "COPY then
PASTE SPECIAL > VALUE" with the mouse? I require this so that the text may
be copied in a VBA Macro and pasted to different locations during a loop.
The text changes with each iteration .
When my Macro copies the cell content it pastes the Address algorithm at the
destinations with the result that each location contains the text of the
latest iteration . The T function works on the spreadsheet but when this
cell is copied and pasted by the Macro the pasted text is "".

record a macro while manually pasting with 'Values' you'll see in the
macro the pastespecial method

Thanks Frank. That solved the problem. I am a beginner but now I know the
technique.
