Method 1: - left click on the little icon at the upper left
corner of the CMD prompt window
- Select 'Edit'
- Select 'Mark'
- Mark the portion of the window to be copied using
the cursor arrows
- left click on the little icon at the upper left
corner of the CMD prompt window
- Select 'Edit'
- Select 'Copy'
Method 2: Turn on 'Quick Edit mode' in the properties of the shortcut
that starts CMD.EXE (just do this once and make it permanent).
In the CMD prompt window, mark text by left-clicking and dragging;
copy marked text to clipboard by right-clicking; paste contents of
clipboard by right-clicking; cancel marked text by <Esc>.
To Copy from the Command Prompt window to another
application (Eg. Notepad), you need to click the icon in
the top-left of the screen.
Choose 'Edit | Select All'. Then click there again and
choose 'copy'. Open up Notepad, right-click and
choose 'paste'!
Hope this helps.
