copy spreadsheet

Working in Office 97

I have a spreadsheet (several pages) and wish to copy a
final sheet so that others may view but not have access to
all the other linked information contained on other
sheets.

I have tried a copy, paste special, values, but then I
lose all formatting. I have tried copy sheet but then the
document wants to link back to the original.

I also tried a copy paste special into Word but, although
the formatting carries over, not all of the columns do.
This does seem to be the best method however if someone
can tell me how to solve this problem. The spreadsheet in
Excel in on letter size, I have tried legal and landscape
in Word but still no luck

Can someone please help me? T
 
Hi Janet,

You were nearly there with your Paste Special|Values in Excel. All yo
need to do now is Paste Special|Formats with the same selectio
highlighted in your target workbook.

Hi Janet,

I take it the first attempts were made within Excel? And
that's where you'd prefer to have it? Have you tried using
cell protection in Excel? You should be able to protect
ranges of cells (including the entire sheet) so that people
can't change the values.

As for bringing it into Word: How many columns does the table
have?
