Does anyone know how to copy a spreadsheet from a different workbook into an existing workbook without establishing a link to the original workbook? I need it to copy all of the formulas and format, but not link to the original workbook.
Thank yo

Hi

If they are both open together, arrange them so you can see both and, while
holding Ctrl, click and drag the tab fro one to the other. Another way is
to right-click on the tab and select Move/Copy. From the dialog box select
Copy and select the book you want to copy it to at the top.

Hi

It sounds like you need to replace the links with the actual values, then.
To do this, select the whole sheet (Ctrl A) and Copy and then Paste/Paste
Special/Values. This will replace all formulas with their values.

Andy, when I do this it still creates a link to the original workbook. In
the 1st workbook I have a spreadsheet that takes information from several
other spreadsheets in the same workbook. In the 2nd workbook I have the
same setup. A spreadsheet that takes information from several spreadsheets
in that workbook. I need to copy a spreadsheet from workbook # 1 to
workbook # 2. When I copy the spreadsheet over to Workbook # 2 it is
setting up a link to still receive the data from the other spreadsheets in
workbook # 1. I need to to just draw from the data in workbook # 2. Any
suggestions?
