When I finish editing a movie and send it back to my camera and then try to
record it on my phillips DVD recorder, the DVD recorder says it is Copy
Protected. Has anyone else experience this and if so what can be done to
stop this from happeing,. the stuff I am recording to my camera is not copy
protected so where is this DVD recorder getting the idea that it is? thanks

I have the same problem as you do. I am also using a Philips DVD recorder.
I noticed no one has posted an answer here yet but was wondering if anyone
has given you an idea some other way. I am going to try to copy the file to
VHS and then back to DVD to see what happens. I did notice that if I try to
copy to the Philips DVD recorder straight from the HandiCam the copying is
fine. I don't understand why MS has done this with MovieMaker.
