When I install the RTM version of Vista, will I be able to play my current
recorded TV files (recorded with Media Center) that have copy protection?

I wasn't aware any tv recordings were copy protected I record from the tv
all the time with Vista Media Center (RC2 5744) and have had no issues
with it at all

Some shows are Copy Protected, the broadcaster has set a flag. If you try to
play this file on another computer you won't be able to.
I have no problem playing such files on my computer, but they will not play
on a laptop I have that has Vista on it.
I think you can play these files using a media center extender as long as
they reside on the original computer.
I don't know if these files will be playable on a new install of Vista when
the new install has a different install key than my RC2 version.
Specifically, the RTM version.
