Copy pictures onto a cd

Ok I have done this previously but for some reason I am no longer able. As
per the help files under PICTURE TASKS I am suppose to be able to click on
"Copy to CD". My problem is that I do not have that option available to me.
What have I done and/or what can I do in order to be able to complete this
task. Please help with basic steps as I am not very familiar with computers.

You'll have to be more descriptive; where are the pictures now? What
program/s are you trying to use? Tell us about the CD drive.
 
open My Computer window and right click the CD drive icon. Select Properties
from the bottom of the pop open menu that appears. From there click on the
Recording tab and ensure that you have the box checked to enable recording
on the drive. OK out of there. Now when you select a picture you should have
the option to Copy to CD
 
I went to My Computer and right click on the CD drive icon (DVD/CD-RW Drive
(E:) ). I right clicked and then clicked on properties, from there however
there was no Recording tab. There were 4 tabs General, Autoplay, Hardware and
Sharing do you have any idea what I should do now?

CD-R drive or CD-RW drive is not recognized as a recordable device:
