Hi all,

I quite often has copy&paste does not work between local PC and the remote
desktop of the remote PC...

Sometimes the printer also does not work. For example, if I want to let the
remote PC prints to a printer that's attached to the local PC... I have done
that before using MS remote desktop. When it succeeded, I was amazed by such
a nice feature... but quite often it does not work. The remote PC cannot
even detect a local printer...

These problems are very annoying... esp. when I have to copy&paste and print
something remotely...

Does anybody know any update on these issues?

thanks a lot

Copy/paste and printing will only work if you configure it under
Options/Local Resources on the RD login screen. It is not enabled by
default.

Hi, I have configured the printer... but I did not see the configuration for
"copy & paste"...

Which version of Remote deskptop are you using?

Hi Networm,

Sorry, I should have been clearer in my reply.
Checking "Disk drives" under Options/Local Resources on the RD login screen
enables copy and paste.

Hi Larry, I have made sure that disk drives option has been enabled
already... but copy & paste is still buggy...
