Copy Outlook and Outlook express Mail archive

Hi , I just want to move old mails from old computer . My brother want to
use simple Outlook Express . I Used Office 2000. Now I use Office 2003 .
And We don't want to lose new mails. What we should do both outlook and
outlook express . I know *.pst thing a little bit I didn't try . Are
there other options in outlook import / export thing
for example .
Copy C:\Documents and Settings\XXX\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\archive.pst and paste it in knew office2003 or
change Tools/option menu archive directory . I think outlook and outlook
express wants to process mails again and copy all again
Please answer both outlook and outlook express.
