I am trying to copy my Outlook Address Book (Contacts
Folder)from my computer at work to my computer at home.
What is the file name (extension) of the Outlook Address
Book? I have Outlook 2000 on my computer at home, and I
believe I have Outlook 2002 on the computer at work.

*.pst, *.wab

No, only the .pst file contains contacts from Outlook. The .wab is used by
Outlook Express.

Copying the PST file will copy all components of your
Outlook file including email, tasks, calendaring,
contacts, etc... The best approach for copying your
contacts only is to open your contacts view in Outlook and
then using the File > Export wizard, export your contacts
list to w Windows CSV file. Then copy that file to your
other computer, open Outlook, use the File > Import wizard
to Import the CSV file.
