if you have windows xp you should have windows meadia 9 installed on your
system
look for a shortcut on your desktop or in the...
go to start> then to all progams
look your a short cut there open the program and on the left side of wm9 you
can see buttons with thing like

copy from cd
media library
radio tuner
copy to cd
services
skins

if you click
copy from cd.
youi can put a cd into your rom and copy music cd's that you have.
that way you can have a back up just incase something happens to the other
one.
I know this is wierd
but I have 2-200 watt pioneer
amps connected to my computer though the sound blaster soundcard.
i got one amp connected to the front speakers and the other connected to the
rear speakers. with 4 pioneer HPM1100 pioneer cabs.
i keep all my cd's on m y computer and when i want to listen to some music I
just open wm9 and open Media library and select what i want to hear without
putting a scratch on my cd's.
and if i want to make a copy of my favorite band for to play in my car I
just click the button "copy to cd" when you click the button another window
will open and you look up top and click edit play list and you can choose
what you want to burn............have fun
