copy mp3 in the computer

i try to copy the mp3`s in the computer in windows media
files but after i remove the cd from cd-rom i can`t play
the list anymore.so, i can play the list only with the cd
in cd-rom
what should i do?
 
Did you copy the mp3 files from the CD to a folder on your PC, or just into
the Window Media Player Play List? Adding them to the play list does not
put them on your PC. It only places a reference to its current location in
the play list so that it knows where to find the file when it plays it.
