I would like to have your opinion on a good copymachine (Scan --> print)
program. If it is be able to scan --> fax it would be a great added bonus,
but I gues I could always use a default fax printer to do this

TIA

My favorite ATM is iCarbon.

Not real feature packed, but has good compatibility with scanners and is
quick and simple to configure and use.

I, too, use his Photocopy (scanner to printer/file) program. Very intuitive.
I'll probably be flamed for this, but I liked his program so much I even
PAID for his Pro version.

Now the PRO version is very nice! That would be my favorite Shareware copier
software.

Doesn't work for me. I get a lot of pure black copies. Wastes a lot of ink
if I'm not paying attention.

It's not simple either. It has a ton of options, and not the best layout at
that. It's my second-favorite.

Yoy are right.
It is not the #1 program for photocopy and it
doesn't work with all scanners.
I have Win XP Pro and Epson Perfection 1640SU.
Works very well for me.
After install the only parameters i adjust: printer=...,
scanner=... and resolution=...dpi.
Copies from Simplecopier aren't like copies from
Epson's internal twain (105!!! MB photocopy program,
i removed it) but when i want to make copies from 10
sheets quickly, Simplecopier is my favorite.

Thank you for all your suggestions.
I'm gonna try all of them and keep the one that fits my needs the best.

To be honest, The Gimp and Irfan view are wat Queen is for Rock music to me:

I'm sure it is just me, but somehow I don't like them. I know they are good,
even among the best, and I surely will recommand them to everyone who asks,
but I just won't use it. Onec in a while I try a new version just to see if
it has become more to my liking, but so far it isn't.

But thanks for telling anyway. It is an option for those who already have
irfanview or do like the programm.

MightyKitten.

Same here. All the people that like those programs can't be wrong, so they
must be good software. But like you, neither are to my liking and I don't
know exactly why.
